PREPARATION
-
If you’re taking one of our bus tours, you’ll be most comfortable dressed for warm weather and wearing comfortable shoes. If you’re taking one of our thrilling UTV adventures, you’ll want to be wearing a bathing suit underneath your clothes so you can take a refreshing dip along the way! Shorts and t-shirts are fine, as well as sneakers, although water shoes are even better. PLEASE NOTE: You’ll be kicking up a lot of dust on your adventure, so you’ll want to wear a bandana, which we provide as part of the price of your tour. Good eye protection is also a must! If you have a close-fitting pair of sunglasses, you’ll probably be fine, but your best protection is to purchase a pair of goggles from us for a modest additional fee. We also have water shoes available for purchase as well.
-
Besides your sense of adventure, you’ll want to have a camera with you to capture some of the thrilling moments and amazing things you’ll see along the way. A towel is a good idea as well if you want to take a dip in the Natural Pool or Arashi Beach (Island Expedition tour) and be able to dry off before continuing the tour. Whoever is driving the UTV needs to have their driver’s license with them since we do travel on roads to get to some destinations. We’ll provide water and snacks along the way, but some stops will give you the chance to purchase additional drinks and food, so some spending money is a good idea as well. Other than that, the less you have, the better!
RESERVATION
-
YES! When you make your reservation, you’ll let us know what hotel or resort you’re staying at or if you need to be picked up from the cruise terminal, airport or other location. Depending on how many people we need to pick up, we’ll let you know what time we’ll stop by your location in one of our comfortable, air-conditioned motor coaches to take you to the tour’s starting point, where you’ll finish off any needed paperwork and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! And of course, we’ll drive you back after the tour.
-
The prices are per UTV, and each UTV (depending on the UTV tour that you are booking) has a capacity from 1 – 2 or 1 – 4 passengers.
-
Cancellation policy
If you need to change the date of your tour, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance and we will be happy to reschedule your date at no additional charge (subject to availability).
We reserve the right to cancel or alter any trip due to weather (highly unusual) or insufficient enrollment.
You must cancel at least 48 hours before the trip is scheduled to depart. Otherwise, no refund will be applicable.
-
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! We have to know in advance how many people are signed up for any given tour to make sure we have the right number of expert tour guides to keep the group manageable so everyone has a great time!
TOUR DETAILS
-
Many people don’t realize that more than 20% of Aruba is protected land in Arikok National Park, and not every tour available on the island will go there, even though some of the best sights are in there. Yes, there is an entrance fee to enter the park, but it is included in the price of your tour, so no worries there!
-
We’re glad you asked this question! Fofoti offers UTV tours, not ATV tours, and there are important differences! An ATV is an all-terrain vehicle, which is more like a motorcycle with four wheels instead of two, which means you sit ON it and have no protection from the sun. We think the UTV or utility task vehicle is a much better choice because it’s more like driving a tiny car. You sit IN a UTV, and it has a roof, giving you much-needed protection from the ever-shining sun on One Happy Island! Trust us when we say you’ll be much more comfortable in one of our UTVs than you would ever be on an ATV — especially for longer tours that last several hours!
-
This is another great advantage of the UTV over an ATV. An ATV typically only seats one person, but the UTVs at Fofoti seat two or four (depending on the tour you booked), which means you can have your spouse, child or friend riding along with you to experience the fun and thrills together!

We keep our fleet of UTVs in tip-top shape, adding new vehicles each year and cycling out the ones that have received too much wear and tear. It’s got tons of great features to give you the best performance, including the following:

WEATHER
-
Aruba has near-perfect weather year-round and is located well south of the hurricane belt, so canceling a tour because of inclement weather is highly unlikely. Aruba has strong constant trade winds, but they’re never so strong that they would prevent a tour from happening. When it rains, which is only occasionally, it rarely does so for very long. The one thing that does sometimes happen is extra rough surf at the Natural Pool, so on rare occasions, we do have to stop people from swimming.
